Princess Cruises has unveiled Spellbound by Magic Castle, a collaboration with the famous Hollywood icon aboard the Sun Princess, visible when it debuts in early 2024. Spellbound combines the world of magic with the art of mixology.

Guests of the Sun Princess will find Spellbound behind an indescribable door amidst the confines of the new Princess ship, where they can enjoy feats of magic by talented magicians, surprises in themed rooms, and theatrical cocktails.
“We are thrilled to introduce Spellbound by Magic Castle and bring the art of magic to the world aboard the spectacular new Sun Princess,” said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. “This collaboration with The Magic Castle™ offers our guests an exclusive experience that combines the enchantment of magic with the excitement of cruising. Spellbound is destined to become a haven for magic enthusiasts and a true highlight of Sun Princess.”
With its decor, period curiosities and interactive special effects, Spellbound is designed to capture the essence of Hollywood's Magic Castle.
“We are bringing some of the most authentic aspects of The Magic Castle in Hollywood to Sun Princess, with incredible magicians and illusionists, so Princess guests can experience a taste of the world-class magic showcased nightly at the Magic Castle,” said Erika Larsen, president of Magic Castle Enterprises. “It’s an exciting opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in a magical experience normally reserved exclusively for members and their guests.”
Performances by world-class magicians selected from around the globe will fascinate audiences with tricks, illusions, and mesmerizing acts.
Spellbound will debut aboard the Sun Princess in February 2024. Currently under construction at Italy's Fincantieri shipyards, the 175,500-ton, 4,300-guest Sun Princess will offer a wide variety of entertainment and activities, as well as luxurious staterooms and suites in a wide range of categories.
With the most balconies and sundecks of any Princess ship, guests can soak up the sun and crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean and Caribbean from the comfort of their stateroom. The Dome, a transformative entertainment venue inspired by the terraces of Santorini, is the perfect place to unwind, and The Arena is an evolution and the most technologically advanced Princess Theater design.
