Norwegian Cruise Line is reclassifying spa-category staterooms on board its ships.
“We are committed to providing the best holidays at sea and work tirelessly to continue raising the quality of our offerings and the overall guest experience,” the company said.
“In an effort to offer greater availability and access to the Thermal Suite at NCL’s Mandara Spa and Salon, the Spa Suites at Haven by Norwegian, Spa Club Balcony and Spa Balcony Staterooms have been recategorized to Traditional Suites, Club Balcony and Balcony Staterooms,” Norwegian Cruise Line continued.
With the change, additional capacity in the Thermal Suite will be offered to all cabin categories on board, the company added.
The reclassification of Spa Cabins will begin for departures after January 1, 2024.
In addition to maintaining their access to the Thermal Suite, guests who booked one of the affected staterooms before October 2, 2023, will see their reservations updated to reflect the change, the company said.
In addition, Norwegian Cruise Line will also introduce more than 1,000 new single staterooms across its fleet of 19 ships.
These cabins, which can be booked starting this week, will be available for cruises beginning on January 2, 2024, and include three categories of single cabins: Inside Only, Oceanview Only, and Balcony Only.
