From today, bookings can be made for the latest additions to the A-ROSA, the A-ROSA ALEA and the A-ROSA CLEA, which will begin their season in April 2024. Both ships will sail various itineraries on the Northern Rhine, Southern Rhine and the Moselle and will offer seven-night cruises until October, after which shorter five- and four-night options will be offered.
Until the end of November, A-ROSA will be offering introductory prices. These will include an early booking discount. A 20% bonus will be offered on the cruise fare.
Itineraries
The A-ROSA ALEA will begin the season on April 5, 2024, with seven-night “South Rhine Experience” itineraries offering a round trip from Cologne with stops in Rudesheim, Speyer, Breisach, Basel, Strasbourg and Mainz, plus sailing through the Lorelei Passage via Koblenz.
The A-ROSA CLEA's first focus will be the tulip season, sailing from April 7th along the "Northern Rhine Experience" itineraries to Belgium and the Netherlands, with the option of an excursion to the Keukenhof Gardens during its annual spring tulip festival. Departing from Cologne, the cruise will visit Willemstad, Ghent, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Hoorn, and Nijmegen.
From the beginning of May, both ships will alternate seven-night itineraries along the Moselle, the Southern Rhine, or the Northern Rhine, depending on the departure date. From October, they will offer shorter four- and five-night cruises before transitioning to Christmas markets and festive options.
About the ships
At 110 meters in length, the two ships are shorter than A-ROSA's other Rhine vessels, allowing them to sail directly into the heart of some ports and offering space for 138 (A-ROSA ALEA) and 140 (A-ROSA CLEA) guests. Both have an intimate atmosphere and feature an open-air lounge at the bow. They will also follow the same culinary concept as the Douro-based A-ROSA ALVA, with buffet breakfast and lunch, while for dinner, starters and desserts are selected from the buffet and the main course is served at the table.
