Swan Hellenic presents its 2024-2025 Antarctic Season and opens sales of cultural expedition cruises on its 5-star ice-class boutique ships, the SH Diana and the SH Vega.
Departures begin on November 13, 2024, with a 20-night cruise on the SH Diana from Cape Town to Ushuaia, exploring Tristan da Cunha, South Georgia, and the Antarctic Peninsula. The SH Diana's season concludes with a semi-circumnavigation in late February 2025, returning to Cape Town for 21 nights, having offered a wide selection of 9, 10, 11, 12, and 17-night cruises from Swan Hellenic's Antarctic Season homeport of Ushuaia.
The SH Vega begins its season with a 17-night cruise along Argentina's east coast from Buenos Aires, then heads to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and the Antarctic Peninsula, before crossing the famous Drake Passage to Ushuaia. Following this, the SH Vega offers a diverse selection of 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13-night cultural expedition cruises from Ushuaia, departing throughout the New Year and through March.
Both ships offer the opportunity to explore the Antarctic Peninsula from both sides, including the less visited Weddell Sea, as well as the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich and South Shetland Islands.
Each cruise offers multiple Zodiac expeditions, often more than one per day, so close encounters in unforgettable landscapes with whales, penguins, seals and many spectacular seabirds are virtually guaranteed.
All expeditions are led by experienced international guides and experts, who offer a rich program of lectures on board.
