Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will be the name of Disney Cruise Line in the Bahamas, a destination that will "celebrate the natural beauty, traditions and art of this one-of-a-kind nation."
During the event where the name of this new destination for the company was announced, a preview of what Disney Lookout Cay might look like once completed was shown, indicating that it will showcase the natural beauty of the island.
Disney Cruise Line ships will dock on the other side of the island, out of sight of visitors relaxing on the beach.
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point was first announced in 2019, a destination located at the tip of Eleuthera Island, which will use 90% solar energy to help preserve the environment.
This will be Disney Cruise Line's second island destination in the Bahamas, the first being Castaway Cay. Guests will be able to visit Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point starting in June 2024.
This new island destination is just one of many new offerings from Disney Cruise Line. Last year, the Disney Wish began cruising from Florida. This week, details were revealed about the next ship to join the fleet, the Disney Treasure.
