Silversea's twelfth ship, the Silver Nova, has begun its inaugural season sailing the Mediterranean before heading to the Caribbean and South America in November. On January 4, 2024, it will embark on a Grand Voyage through South America, visiting 38 destinations in 18 countries.

The Silver Nova's innovative design, which prioritizes openness over symmetry and incorporates an unprecedented use of approximately 4,000 m² of glass, immerses guests in the destination from virtually every space and suite, with panoramic views in every direction. One of the most spacious cruise ships ever built, the Silver Nova boasts a space-to-guest ratio of 75 GRT per guest, the highest in the Silversea fleet.

Barbara Muckermann, president of Silversea Cruises, has prepared a video in which she explains each of the rooms of the Silver Nova and its surprising design, in which even the fireplace, or the main pool, are not centered on the deck.

With 54,700 GRT and capacity for 728 guests served by 544 crew members, the Silver Nova is not only the ship with the most space per guest at sea, but also boasts the highest crew-to-passenger ratio in the luxury segment at 1:1.3.

For the remainder of 2023, the Silver Nova will be sailing the Mediterranean until November 7th, when it will depart from Lisbon for New York. After crossing the Atlantic Ocean, it will sail to the Caribbean and Latin America from various ports of embarkation until April 2024, when it will set sail for Alaska, where it will spend several months offering 7-night cruises.

In September 2024, it will sail to Tokyo, then on to Singapore and Australia. It will continue cruising from Australia and Tokyo until April 2025.
