Crystal has appointed Dalila Roglieri as Chief Nutritionist, a new role that reinforces the brand's culinary expertise and its ability to offer an individualized approach to wellness. With extensive professional experience in nutrition and a passion for fitness, Roglieri's addition underscores Crystal's commitment to providing guests with an exceptional, holistic wellness experience.
Roglieri's experience and cultural approach to gastronomy are an attractive complement to Crystal's new programming, launching this summer. In his new role with Crystal, Roglieri will collaborate with the award-winning culinary teams aboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity to develop balanced menus that cater to a variety of preferences and dietary needs.
Roglieri holds several degrees in nutritional science and culinary arts. Although she began her education and career specializing in nutritional biology, Roglieri has nurtured a natural fascination with the impact of food and drink on the body and mind for over 14 years. Her curiosity led her to study food tasting and culinary tourism in depth. She has completed a Master's degree in Sports Nutrition at SANIS, a Master's degree in Oncology Nutrition at the University of Pavia, a Master's degree in Phytotherapy and the Use of Plants in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Tuscia – Viterbo, and a Master's degree in Oenology and Wine Marketing at the University of the Sacred Heart – Piacenza. In addition to her work with Crystal, Roglieri runs her own practice, DaRò Wellness, in Bari, Italy, where she specializes in dietetics, sports nutrition, and culinary nutrition. Her global perspective and tailored approach to healthy living make her well-equipped to bring flavor and functionality to Crystal's onboard food and beverage programs.
