Costa Cruises will feature “Costa Voyages”, a new cruise experience designed to explore extended itineraries, where the experience of traveling to great destinations is combined with the best of gastronomy and new onboard entertainment.
Starting in September 2023, guests will have the opportunity to embark on a unique 10- to 14-day cruise to exclusive destinations during the autumn and spring. The offerings include the Canary Islands, Turkey, a journey between East and West, Egypt, the Azores, Israel, Morocco, and Northern Europe, from Normandy to Spain.
While cruising to these destinations, guests will have the opportunity to savor exceptional culinary experiences. Starting with 14 new desserts created in collaboration with master pastry chef Iginio Massari: a fusion of premium ingredients and cutting-edge pastry technologies.
In all the main restaurants on each cruise, guests will be able to choose, during three different dinners, a new exclusive menu included and created by three world-renowned chefs: Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze and Ángel León.
Costa Voyages will also offer the opportunity to toast with the captain during a memorable dinner. Guests will also be treated onboard to the Banquet Night Party, a buffet that is a work of art, accompanied by incredible ice sculptures carved by master ice sculptors and a live DJ set.
Costa Voyages also offers a wide range of onboard entertainment. Rolling Stone, the world's leading music icon, will come aboard Costa ships to present an exclusive musical show. Meanwhile, Canon, the Japanese brand synonymous with excellence in photography and technological innovation, will offer guests the opportunity to participate in photography workshops and learn about the craft.
Costa Voyages will also collaborate with the Italian Bridge Federation, offering a complete immersion in the world of the card game. More skilled guests will have the opportunity to compete in a tournament, while beginners can participate in workshops.
For lovers of glamour, Costa Voyages will offer three elegant evenings on board. The first is a gala night. The second is Fashion Night, a fashion show where guests will be the stars, competing on the Grand Bar's red carpet in a style battle, followed by a DJ set. The third is Glamour Night, a dance competition.
In addition, Costa Voyages will host games inspired by the 60s and 90s, such as "Double Interview" for couples, "Musichiere," and "C-Music," featuring contests, challenges, and musical auctions. Finally, guests will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of a guided tour, discovering the ship's behind-the-scenes areas, including the kitchens, the bridge, the crew bar, and other spaces.
Costa Voyages cruises are available from September to November 2023, from April
to June 2024, and from September to November 2024, aboard six ships in the fleet: Costa Favolosa, Costa Fortuna, Costa Firenze, Costa Fascinosa, Costa Pacifica and Costa
Diadema.
In 2023 aboard the Costa Pacifica, and in 2024 aboard the Costa Fortuna, guests will have the opportunity to explore Egypt and the Holy Land.
Morocco will be featured in 2023 with the Costa Favolosa and in 2024 with both the Costa Favolosa and the Costa Fortuna. Two new excursions will be offered in Casablanca, exploring the souks and medinas and allowing guests to immerse themselves in Moroccan traditions.
For nature lovers, nothing beats the Canary Islands, available on Costa Firenze and Costa Fortuna in 2023, and Costa Diadema in 2024. Among the excursions, a must-do is hiking in Lanzarote, exploring stunning expanses of solidified lava and vibrantly colored volcanic cones in Timanfaya National Park.
Portugal will be offered by Costa Firenze, Costa Fortuna, Costa Favolosa and Costa Fascinosa in 2023, in addition to Costa Diadema in 2024. The trips include, among other things, an exploration of the unique customs of Madeira.
Turkey will be the Costa Fortuna's destination in both 2023 and 2024. Guests will have the opportunity to experience Istanbul from four perspectives: on foot, by tram, by metro, and by boat, immersing themselves in the city's culture and daily life.
Costa Firenze, Costa Fascinosa, Costa Diadema and Costa Favolosa will offer a wide selection of cruises that combine Northern and Southern Europe in a single holiday, visiting charming destinations such as Copenhagen, Le Havre, from where guests will travel to explore Normandy and Mont Saint-Michel, the picturesque island declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Cadiz, A Coruña, from where it will be possible to reach Santiago de Compostela, and Lisbon.
The Costa Fortuna will also sail to discover the best of the Balearic and Greek Islands, from the most famous to the lesser-known. Highlights include a boat trip to the Blue Caves of Zakynthos, a visit to the labyrinthine Palace of Knossos in Crete, and a bike tour of Palma de Mallorca.
