The Port Authority of Ceuta (APC) will receive a new MSC Cruises ship this Friday, June 16. Following the ten calls of the MSC Lirica, the 'MSC Orchestra' will dock in the port this Friday from 7:00 a.m. until its scheduled departure at 7:00 p.m. It will be moored on the eastern side of the Muelle España (Spain Wharf), as is customary for this type of vessel.
The cruise ship departed from the port of Cádiz and is headed to the port of Alicante. Approximately 3,000 people are on board, of whom 2,200 are tourists of various nationalities, primarily European and North American. There are also 800 crew members.
The MSC Lirica's 10 port calls brought nearly 20,000 tourists to the city. MSC cruise ship calls will not return until early next year, as they did in 2023.
Ceuta Tourist Services has prepared various excursions for those who decide to visit the city, either on foot or with bus transfers to the most diverse points of the city such as the hermitage of San Antonio del Monte Hacho or to enjoy the different panoramas and perspectives of the city from its various viewpoints.
Both the Tourist Services and the Confederation of Businessmen and Chamber of Ceuta will have information points at the dock to inform visitors about the various tourist possibilities in Ceuta that will make the stop more attractive, as well as the specific offer that Ceuta companies have prepared for them in both products and services.
