Silversea Cruises has opened an exclusive pre-sale for its 2026 World Cruise, 'The Curious and the Sea', a 140-day cruise visiting 70 destinations in 37 countries, including 26 new or previously unvisited ports of call since 2020. Silversea guests will embark on the Silver Dawn in Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2026.
“The Curious and the Sea” will connect travelers with the rich history of navigation. Guests will follow ancient trade routes, sailing the waters that connected the Silk Road and passing through the Panama and Suez Canals; they will set foot on some of the world’s most remote islands, including those in the South Pacific, a region explored by Captain James Cook in the 18th century; and they will witness lands that inspired scientific progress, such as Western Australia, which attracted Charles Darwin in 1836.

“The Curious and the Sea” will be divided into nine segments:

- AN EXPLORER'S PARADISE: Callao (Lima) to Papeete, Tahiti – from January 19 to February 7
- TREASURE ISLANDS: From Papeete (Tahiti) to Auckland – February 7-24
- NEW WORLD OF THE ANCIENTS: From Auckland to Fremantle (Perth) – February 24 to March 14
- THE CALL OF THE WIND: Fremantle (Perth) to Singapore – March 14-30
- ROUTES OF SILK & SPICE: From Singapore to Mumbai – March 30–April 16
- THE TIDES OF HISTORY: Bombay to Ashdod (Jerusalem) – April 16-30
- MEDITERRANEAN: From Ashdod (Jerusalem) to Split – April 30-May 12

THREE IMMERSIVE LAND-BASED PROGRAMS
To facilitate a deeper immersion in some of the richest cultures on the planet, Silversea guests will have the option to join three land excursions during the voyage:
- Uzbekistan – April 16-25 – Disembarking in Mumbai, guests will have the opportunity to experience the ancient wonders of the Silk Road in Uzbekistan. They will explore the bustling bazaars of Tashkent; Samarkand, with its distinctive architecture; and the historic center of Bukhara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Luxor, Egypt – April 26-31 – From Safaga, Silversea guests can follow in the footsteps of ancient navigators and explore the ancient wonders of Egypt, from the temples of Luxor to the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Valley of the Kings and the Nubian village, on a luxurious Nile River cruise.
- The Balkans – May 11-14 – Travelers will have the opportunity to take a road trip to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, which has been rebuilt almost 40 times throughout history. Guests will learn about the history of Yugoslavia, visiting the Museum of Yugoslav History, the Temple of Saint Sava, and Novi Sad, the largest city in the autonomous region of Vojvodina.
