Celebrity Cruises appoints Giles Hawke as Vice President and General Manager for the EMEA region.
Hawke will report to the new President of Celebrity, Laura Hodges Bethge, and will oversee all aspects of Celebrity's business in the EMEA region. She will join the company in September 2023, succeeding Jo Rzymowska, who has been at the helm for the past 18 years.
Hawke joins Celebrity with extensive industry knowledge, celebrating 30 years in the travel industry. Hawke built his reputation in the cruise sector at Carnival UK as Director of Sales and Customer Relations. Since then, he has held several senior positions, including Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at MSC Cruises and, most recently, Chief Executive Officer of Cosmos Tours Ltd, where he led the transformation of the cruise and river cruise business.

Hawke is also a member of CLIA's Executive Committee and will continue to support and lead change for the industry in his new role at Celebrity Cruises.
