Saudi Arabia will offer instant e-visa options that will allow holders of UK, US and Schengen visas and permanent residents of the UK and US, as well as any EU country, to obtain e-tourist visas.
Electronic visas can be obtained through www.mofa.gov.sa. This measure marks Saudi Arabia's ongoing effort to make visiting the country easier than ever for travelers. The instant visa option is one of several initiatives Saudi Arabia has implemented in the past year to enhance the visitor experience.
Previously, Saudi Arabia had expanded its visa-on-arrival policy to include holders of valid US, UK, and Schengen visas, as well as permanent residents of the UK, US, and EU countries. The option of obtaining an e-visa was later extended to residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Earlier this year, the country also announced the launch of a new, free stopover visa available to those traveling with SAUDIA and Flynas. This visa will allow visitors to stay in the country for up to 96 hours.
