Cruise Saudi has participated in the Ministry of Tourism's first Tourism Job Fair, with the intention of recruiting local talent in the cruise tourism sector, according to its press release.

Cruise Saudi's Director of Human Capital, Ayman AlGhamdi, stated: “As we are developing a new industry that supports the Saudi tourism sector, we believe in investing in the local community and its workforce. With a 71% Saudiization rate, we are proud of our local talent, who have demonstrated their ability, qualifications, and rapid development across a wide range of cruise-related fields.”
Cruise Saudi's mission is to create 50,000 direct and indirect jobs in Saudi Arabia by 2035. Furthermore, Cruise Saudi has already achieved the female employment target outlined in Vision 2030 to increase female participation in the workforce to 30% by 2030.
The Deputy Minister of Human Capacity Development for Tourism, Mohamed Bushnaq, stated: “This forum comes at a crucial time, as Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector is undergoing substantial development. Having transformed into a regulated industry supported by regulations, systems, projects, and programs, it is striving to become one of the most important pillars of Saudi Vision 2030. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the diversification and prosperity of the national economy.”
“We are here today, continuing our journey to provide more opportunities for this nation, by launching the first-ever tourism jobs forum, both in person and through a dedicated virtual platform, which aims to meet the growing demand within the tourism sector. One of the most important goals of the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia is to create one million additional jobs in the sector by 2030, and fortunately, we are confident in achieving this goal by working hand in hand with our partners in the public and private sectors.”
