Silversea ’s 140-day 2026 World Cruise , “The Curious and the Sea,” expands the largest collection of extended sailings on ultra-luxury cruises. Guests will embark on the Silver Dawn in Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2026, before venturing into 70 destinations across 37 countries—the most ever on a Silversea World Cruise. An exclusive presale for Venetian Society members opens on June 14, while general sales begin on June 22.
“The Curious and the Sea” will connect travelers with the rich history of navigation, inspired by the same curiosity that drove ancient mariners to sail to unknown lands. Guests will follow ancient trade routes, sailing the waters that connected the Silk Road and passing through the Panama and Suez Canals; they will set foot on some of the world’s most remote islands, including those in the South Pacific, a region explored by Captain James Cook in the 18th century; and they will witness lands that inspired scientific progress, such as Western Australia, which attracted Charles Darwin in 1836.

Guests aboard the Silver Dawn will embark in Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2026, and travel through Central America before transiting the Panama Canal to reach South America. They will continue past Easter Island, French Polynesia, and across the South Pacific to New Zealand and a semi-circumnavigation of Australia. Next, travelers will explore Southeast Asia, crossing the Bay of Bengal to Sri Lanka, India, and the Red Sea, before passing through the Suez Canal and reaching the Mediterranean. They will delve into European history and culture before the voyage concludes in Lisbon on May 27, 2026. Highlights include:

The South Pacific will be the highlight of the global voyage.
