Atlas Ocean Voyages is now accepting bookings for 18 expeditions aboard World Voyager, the third ship in the line's Explorer Class expedition fleet. The 198-passenger expedition yacht, a sister ship to Atlas Ocean Voyages' World Traveller and World Navigator, will begin sailing to Antarctica on November 8, 2023.

Among the highlights of a visit to the White Continent are Deception Island, a volcanic caldera where explorers have bathed in steamy hot waters; Paradise Port, dotted with floating icebergs; the Lemaire Channel; and the Gentoo colony at Port Lockroy, crowned by high mountains.

“The addition of World Voyager to the Atlas Ocean Voyages fleet offers intrepid travelers even more opportunities to explore the continent starting this fall,” said James Rodriguez, president and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages. “The deployment of three ships in the region is a testament to the demand for Antarctic cruises, and we look forward to even more of our guests exploring from the comfort of an expedition yacht.”

The new expeditions include:

Four 9-night round-trip expeditions departing from Ushuaia, Argentina, will cross the Drake Passage to the Antarctic Circle, the Shetland Islands, and will include multiple landings along the peninsula.

Six additional 11-night expeditions will be offered from Ushuaia, Argentina, featuring extended dives and multiple landings around the peninsula.

Atlas Ocean Voyages will, for the first time, offer Fly and Sail Expeditions. This package includes flights departing from Punta Arenas, Chile, streamlining the Drake Passage crossing with direct charter flights to the Chilean air base Eduardo Frei Montalva on King George Island, Antarctica, along with one-night pre- and post-cruise stays included on all voyages departing from or returning to Punta Arenas, Chile.

Two five-day round-trip expeditions from King George Island include charter flights from Punta Arenas to the Antarctic Circle and include passage through the famous Lumiere Channel; planned landings include the Shetland Islands, Useful Point, Wilhelmina Bay and the Yalour Islands.

Four seven-night, one-way Drake Expeditions departing from King George Island or Ushuaia, Argentina, complement the round-trip sailings to King George Island. The one-way Expeditions departing on December 7, 19, and 26, 2023, or January 7, 2024, include charter flights from Punta Arenas to King George Island and from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia. Guests will also receive one complimentary hotel night before the cruise on all expeditions and one complimentary hotel night after the cruise on all voyages ending in Punta Arenas.

Two Extended Voyages departing on December 7 and 26, 2023, complete the collection. These two voyages offer a combination of three segments for a comprehensive 19-day immersion in the Antarctic Peninsula.
