From the magical mountains of Colombia to the bustling streets of New York, the worlds of two Disney films – Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Enchantment” and Disney and Pixar’s “Soul” – have come to life for the first time at sea with the debut of new family experiences aboard the Disney Magic.
Disney Cruise Line guests can join the fantastic Madrigal family during “An Enchanted Celebration” aboard the Disney Magic. Designed for families through music, crafts, and storytelling, the interactive experience includes the opportunity to meet and take photos with Mirabel and Bruno from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Enchanted.”
Families can also sing along to songs from "Encanto" and participate in butterfly and flower crafts inspired by the film. During the show, guests can experience the true taste of South America with a selection of local Colombian beers, cocktails, and soft drinks, along with mocktails inspired by the movie.
The story of “Soul” inspired the new Soul Cat Lounge, designed to resemble Joe Gardner’s favorite music venue in the film, the Half Note Lounge. The space transports guests to a classic New York jazz club, complete with decorative details such as brick walls, wood accents, and leather seating surrounding a stage with live music.
The Soul Cat Lounge is adorned with custom Pixar artwork that nods to the film, such as record labels, concert posters, and portraits of jazz legend Dorothea Williams and her bandmates. Details inspired by “Soul” are subtly distributed throughout the design, including record players, instruments, and Joe’s hat.
Adults can enhance their big-city experience with tableside Manhattans and martinis or choose from a selection of local beers and cocktails made with New York spirits. The menu also includes a fun collection of cocktails, specialty coffees, and soft drinks.
For guests seeking the ultimate in comfort and service at sea, all concierge suites, including the one- and two-bedroom suites and the two exclusive royal suites, have been completely renovated with new fixtures, furnishings and elegant artwork, further elevating the premium experience.
The Disney Magic will be able to connect to the electrical grid on land, thus reducing emissions, continuing Disney Cruise Line's dedication to minimizing its impact on the environment.
