The Norwegian Jewel's six-month Asian season will offer 16 immersive itineraries with a wide variety of ports of call, visiting 11 countries and embarking from nine different departure ports, including Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
An experience-focused and destination-immersion approach allows guests to enjoy itineraries through destinations such as Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia, including land excursions to complete the experience.
The Norwegian Jewel, with a capacity for 2,376 guests, features 13 bars and 15 restaurants, including three Asian restaurants: Sushi, Teppanyaki, and Chin Chin. It also boasts a sports court, the Mandara Spa, and the Thermal Suite, complete with a thalassotherapy pool, steam room, and sauna. Entertainment options include Rock You Tonight, a high-energy production featuring music from rock icons like Queen.
Furthermore, the ship has been completely renovated to offer innovative accommodations, including cabins, suites, and bathrooms. Located on the upper deck, The Haven houses NCL's most luxurious suites and villas, accommodating up to eight guests, with 24-hour concierge and butler service, a private terrace, and an exclusive pool for The Haven guests.
Highlights of the Asian season:
● An 11-day cruise departing from Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) to Bali (Benoa). Departing on January 27, 2024.
● The Norwegian Jewel's 11-day itinerary will mark the airline's first voyage from Manila (Philippines) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Departing November 30, 2023.
● A 10-day cruise will be the company's first voyage from Seoul (Incheon), South Korea. Departing on March 21, 2024.
