The Port of Valencia has welcomed the MSC Seashore for the first time. After its season in the Caribbean and Antilles, the MSC Seashore begins its summer season in Valencia, from where embarkations will take place throughout the summer on a Mediterranean itinerary that will include stops in Marseille, France; Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples and Palermo, Italy; and Ibiza.
This first stop was intended to celebrate MSC Cruises' growing commitment to both the Port Authority of Valencia and the city itself, with a history of more than 18 years of uninterrupted relationship, which this summer has resulted in the company, for the second year in a row, positioning 2 ships in Valencia: MSC Magnifica and MSC Seashore.
Furthermore, to facilitate boarding for passengers from other Spanish cities at the Port of Valencia, the company offers a free shuttle bus service to the city. Those embarking on the MSC Seashore every Saturday can enjoy a free shuttle bus transfer from Madrid, Murcia, and Alicante. For passengers embarking on the MSC Magnifica every Thursday, this service covers the cities of Cartagena, Almería, Madrid, Murcia, and Alicante.

Those present at the event included the captain of MSC Seashore, Giuseppe Galano; the general manager of MSC Cruises Spain, Fernando Pacheco; and the head of cruises at the Port Authority of Valencia, Francesca Antonelli.
The 339-meter-long MSC Seashore boasts some of the most advanced environmental technologies available today, reducing sulfur oxide (SOx) emissions by 98% and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by 90%. It also features a wide range of energy-saving equipment, such as smart heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, to maximize efficiency. And it has an advanced wastewater treatment system.
SUMMER 2023, AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE
Since 2005, the company has been operating in the port of Valencia. And with the aim of continuing to offer unique experiences to its customers, starting this summer, MSC Cruises is adding direct flights from Valencia for cruises in Northern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, complementing the existing service from Madrid and Barcelona airports.
