Silversea Cruises has signed a collaboration with the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Mirazur, run by chef Mauro Colagreco, to offer guests a new culinary experience.

As part of Silversea's SALT culinary program, the experience will bring guests closer to the heart of French culinary traditions. It will be available during calls at Menton and Monte Carlo in summer 2023 and summer 2024, and will be offered to guests sailing aboard Silver Moon, Silver Dawn, and, once launched, the new ships Silver Nova and Silver Ray.
“I like to say that Mirazur is much more than a restaurant. It’s a complex ecosystem where many cultures, visions, and talents move in the same direction, with the same values and respect for nature. We are delighted to have the opportunity to allow Silversea guests to discover this complexity, opening the doors of our tasting kitchen to immerse travelers in Mirazur’s unique craftsmanship and explore the connection between human beings and nature on the French Riviera,” said Chef Mauro Colagreco.

As a complement, Silversea's collaboration with Mirazur offers an immersion in the local food and drink culture and will include the following:
- A trip to the Menton Old Town Market, where Mirazur suppliers will introduce guests to the regional food culture, as well as local produce, from fresh seasonal vegetables to signature cheeses.
- A visit to chef Mauro Colagreco's sustainable and artisanal bakery, Mitron, where you will learn about ancient grains and taste a range of breads and pastries baked in the traditional way, produced sustainably through certified organic farming.
- Guests will learn about the research being carried out at the Mirazur Sanctuaries, five biodynamic gardens located both at sea and in the mountains, which are owned by the restaurant.
- The experience concludes with a nine-course tasting menu in Mirazur's private tasting kitchen.

SALT, short for Sea and Land Taste, is Silversea's culinary enrichment program. As part of the SALT program, three venues aboard the Silver Moon and Silver Dawn feature: SALT Kitchen , the first large-scale regional restaurant on a luxury cruise ship, offering a menu that changes with the destination and a regionally inspired wine list; SALT Lab , a test kitchen that allows guests to learn about local ingredients and artisanal techniques through workshops, tastings, and demonstrations; and SALT Bar, where guests can savor the most authentic flavors of the destination, with an extensive selection of regional wines, spirits, cocktails, and other beverages.
