Costa Cruises has launched another new program of three new itineraries on the Costa Fortuna, which will allow you to discover the Mediterranean and Atlantic, from east to west, even reaching the Canary Islands.
With the collaboration of local authorities and institutions, including the Port Authority of Malaga, the Malaga City Council's Tourism Department, Costa del Sol Tourism and Planning, the Andalusian Regional Government's Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport,
Suncruise Andalucía, and the Malagaport Foundation, the Costa Fortuna will operate various itineraries departing from Malaga during May, June, and September. The ship will offer Andalusians a unique opportunity to begin their holidays from home and discover wonderful destinations in Italy and France, as well as the Canary Islands.
The ship will depart from Málaga and allow guests to discover Arrecife (Lanzarote), Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura), Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), and Santa Cruz de Tenerife*1 with extended stopovers of nine hours or more. After the Canary Islands tour, the Costa Fortuna will head to Funchal in Madeira, then visit Barcelona, Marseille, Savona, and Rome, finally returning to Málaga.

On the other hand, this summer, from June 24 to August 19, the Costa Fortuna will offer a brand-new itinerary that includes the Greek Islands. The complete program for these cruises, departing from Barcelona, includes Marseille, Savona, Civitavecchia/Rome, Messina, the stunning Greek islands: Crete (with a stop in Heraklion), Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini, Kefalonia (with a stop in Argostoli), and Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands.
The third itinerary, available on April 16, September 30 and October 14, will depart from Barcelona to reach as far as Istanbul (where you can also stay overnight during the departures at the end of October and November) and Izmir, in Turkey,
Athens, in Greece, and Malta, as well as Savona, Civitavecchia/Rome, Catania, Barcelona and Marseille.
Finally, in autumn, from October 28th until mid-November, the Costa Fortuna will also offer three and four-day mini-cruises in the western Mediterranean to Savona and Marseille, departing from Barcelona.
The recently renovated Costa Fortuna is a medium-sized ship with a wide range of cabins with balconies and sea views.
In addition to the Costa Fortuna, Costa will offer three ships in the Western Mediterranean and two in the Eastern Mediterranean on week-long cruises. The Costa Smeralda, Costa Toscana, and Costa Diadema will visit Italy, France, and Spain; the Costa Deliziosa will depart from Venice/Marghera and Bari to explore some of Greece's most beautiful islands, such as Mykonos and Santorini; and the Costa Pacifica will be based in Taranto, offering cruises to Malta and the Greek islands.
