The new river cruise company Riverside Luxury Cruises has appointed Jon Knight, former National Sales Director at AmaWaterways, as its new Head of Sales for the UK and Ireland, following the recent acquisition of the remaining four ships in Crystal Cruises' river fleet. His extensive experience in the luxury travel sector includes sales positions at Silversea Cruises and Von Essen Hotels.
Knight joined the growing river cruise company this month and will lead sales efforts, with a key focus on developing a luxury trade distribution channel.
“Our fleet is growing, as is our team,” says founder Gregor Gerlach. “We are laying a solid foundation with a very experienced team in the UK.”.
