Oceania Cruises will accelerate the debut of its new ship, Vista, by introducing a new Founder's Cruise that will depart from Rome on May 13, 2023, and sail to Venice. The Vista was originally scheduled to debut on May 20, 2023, but demand for the ship's inaugural season has led to the maiden voyage being moved up by a week.
“Vista has generated exceptional demand. With all cruises in its inaugural season sold out or on the waitlist, we have added an additional voyage to meet that demand,” said Howard Sherman, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises.
Oceania Cruises Founder Frank J. Del Rio will host the new Founder's Cruise to celebrate the new ship and commemorate the brand's 20th anniversary. Sailing from Rome, travelers will experience explorations of destinations in Italy, Greece, and Croatia, accompanied by exclusive celebrations, inaugural cocktail parties, and other special events. Guests joining this inaugural voyage will be among the first to experience Vista and its stunning interiors, public spaces, imaginative new dining and mixology concepts, and new standards of residential-style luxury, including the most spacious standard staterooms at sea.
With stops at a new destination each day, the cruise visits Rome, Italy; Sorrento/Capri, Italy; Messina, Italy; Argostoli, Greece; Corfu, Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Zadar, Croatia; and Venice, Italy.
