In just five weeks, Royal Caribbean International has set new booking records. Last Black Friday became the day with the highest number of bookings in the company's 53-year history, a milestone achieved for the third time in 2022. The two most recent records were set following the unveiling of Icon of the Seas, 15 weeks before its debut in January 2024, promising to be the ultimate family vacation.

“This has been a historic year for Royal Caribbean International, with the return to full service of our 26 ships and the introduction of Icon of the Seas, the world’s greatest family vacation,” says Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International.
Last April, the cruise line achieved its first booking record, and subsequently, with the introduction of Icon in October, it broke the daily record again. The announcement of these latest records, coinciding with Black Friday, joins other recent milestones for the brand, such as the introduction of Icon, a unique combination of the best of any type of vacation, and the addition of Wonder of the Seas to its itineraries for a year from Port Canaveral, Florida. More news about Icon , as well as other ships and private destinations, will be revealed in the coming months.
