Azamara strengthens its sales team in the UK and EMEA

Azamara is strengthening its UK-based sales team to support market growth and build greater trust with business partners in the region. These changes are a direct result of Azamara's plans to increase its market presence and sales function worldwide. With global growth as a top priority, Azamara has doubled its number of ground staff in key markets such as the US, the Nordic countries, Germany, and Australia.

Azamara strengthens its sales team in the UK and EMEACarol Cabezas, president of Azamara, states: “We recognize the role that 'on-the-ground' sales teams play in market performance and the value of their relationships with local business partners. With increased new hires worldwide, we are providing greater support to business partners globally and driving our international growth.”.

In the UK sales team, David Duff, formerly Azamara's International Sales Director, will assume the role of UK Managing Director. In this new position, David will focus on developing the British market, driving growth, and providing visible market leadership. He will lead the UK team across all departments and work closely with the global teams based in Miami, which provide daily operational support to all international markets.

Additional appointments include Lee Surman moving into a new role as Head of Partnerships and Trade; a new role as Head of Commercial Sales, UK, for Stuart Pearce, who will oversee sales strategy in the UK; Nikki Singleton focusing more on key strategic accounts nationally; and Lori Scannella returning to provide support in the UK and EMEA in her role as Sales Support Director.

Azamara strengthens its sales team in the UK and EMEAFor EMEA, Christina Hannon's role has been expanded to Strategic Account Director for the Nordic countries and DACH, where Azamara is establishing relationships for the first time. Bruno Jansen will leverage his European experience in a new role as Sales Director for the EMEA IR network. Christina and Bruno will be supported by a new team member, Daniela Riley, as Sales Support Executive for EMEA, based in Switzerland. Finally, Richard Stanbridge will take on a new role as Director of Trade and Guest Services, based in London, to support our trade partners and guests.
