Seven cruise ships were in the port of Livorno at the same time. The port welcomed two giants, the Celebrity Beyond and the Norwegian Escape, both nearly 330 meters long, to the Italia dock. Another titan from the Scandinavian company, the Epic, was docked at the Alto Fondale dock
Pier 75, behind the Molo Mediceo, was reserved for the Viking Sky. In addition, the historic Porto Mediceo also accommodated three smaller vessels: the Marella Discovery, the Sea Dream, and the luxury cruise clipper Stad Amsterdam.
The port received a total of 9,000 passengers yesterday. 292 cruise ships are scheduled to call at Livorno between New Year's Eve and December 31.
