The La Goulette cruise port welcomed two cruise ships: the MSC OPERA from MSC CRUISES and the ISLAND SKY from NOBLE CALEDONIA. Cruise passengers expressed great satisfaction with their Tunisian experience in the village of La Goulette, impressed by the warm welcome from the community, complete with traditional folk music and dances.
La Goulette Village boasts 70 shops, most of which offer local artisanal and food products. Passengers who opted for organized excursions visited renowned sites such as Sidi Bou Said, Carthage, and Medina. The La Goulette cruise port is one of the most attractive destinations in the Western Mediterranean and a popular choice for winter cruises.
The La Goulette cruise port will welcome the MSC Opera every Thursday starting in April 2022, a welcome boost not only for cruise operators in Tunisia, but especially for the region and all local stakeholders.
A delegation comprised of the Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Transport, the Minister of
Economy, and the EU Ambassador to Tunisia visited the La Goulette cruise port. They were given a tour of the facilities and invited to lunch on the MSC Opera.

The La Goulette cruise port boasts 657 meters of berthing space, enabling it to accommodate mega-ships like the Oasis and Meraglivia-plus class vessels. The port fully complies with international standards for operation, health, safety, and security, and offers services to cruise passengers as well as serving as an efficient transportation hub.
