The Celestyal Crystal welcomes its first guests, marking the start of the 2022 season for Celestyal Cruises. Sailing from Lavrion, a port near Athens, Greece, the ship is launching a series of short cruises to the Greek Islands and Turkey with the three- and four-night Iconic Aegean itinerary, which includes stops at some of the region's most popular destinations, such as Mykonos, Kusadasi, Patmos, Rhodes, Heraklion, and Santorini.

Starting in May, the Celestyal Crystal will switch to week-long cruises and a new itinerary, offering the seven-night Idyllic Aegean cruise. This new itinerary includes stops in Thessaloniki, Greece's second-largest city, as well as visits to Mykonos, Kusadasi, Rhodes, Heraklion, Santorini, and Milos. This itinerary will be available until the end of October. Passengers can embark in Athens and, for the first time, also in Kusadasi and Thessaloniki.
The Celestyal Crystal has a capacity for 950 guests and, with 25,600 tons, offers its passengers a pool deck, a spa, a show lounge, a casino, three restaurants and several bars and lounges.
A second ship resumes service for Celestyal Cruises this month, as the Celestyal Olympia begins its 2022 cruise program on April 29. On that date, the 1,402-guest ship will launch a series of short itineraries to Greece and Turkey.
