Celebrity Cruises' newest ship, the Celebrity Beyond, the latest in the Edge series, has arrived in Southampton ahead of its official maiden voyage to Western Europe on April 27. The next-generation ship, embodying the intersection of architecture and design, offers guests endless opportunities to disconnect from the world while reconnecting with the world around them.

Under the command of Captain Kate McCue, the Celebrity Beyond was welcomed by EMEA Vice President Jo Rzymowska when the ship and its crew of more than 1,400 arrived at the port of Southampton this morning.

Celebrity Beyond will depart on its maiden voyage on April 27, 2022, from Southampton, UK, on a 10-night Western European cruise visiting Bordeaux, France; Lisbon, Portugal; and Seville, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, and Barcelona, Spain. It will then offer a variety of Mediterranean itineraries, including nine-night cruises to the Italian Riviera and France and 10-night cruises to the Greek Islands, until early October, when it will head to the Caribbean.
