Construction of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's Evrima has been delayed again, with the new launch date set for August 6th from Piraeus, instead of the previously scheduled May 6th in Lisbon. The ship will resume its planned schedule without changes, but on the new August 6th date.
Following supply chain and labor issues caused by COVID-19 at the end of last year, there have been several disruptions, but, according to Doug Prothero, Chief Executive Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, things are now progressing well.
Thanks to an audit conducted by an external engineering firm, a new completion schedule is available. The Evirma is currently at the Astander shipyards in Santander, Spain, where workers are continuing construction work on board, with the number of crews increasing until completion and delivery, according to Prothero.
