Royal Caribbean International’s Rhapsody of the Seas will sail the Mediterranean in May 2022 with new, immersive, and varied itineraries departing from Greece, Italy, Spain, and Israel. Joining the cruise line’s previously announced itineraries, including those of Anthem of the Seas and the new Odyssey of the Seas, Rhapsody expands the options with new ways to explore more than 25 destinations in the Greek Islands, the South of France, Italy, Turkey, Croatia, and beyond.
Starting May 23, the Rhapsody will usher in summer with 7-night cruises departing from Rome and Ravenna (Italy), Athens (Greece), and Barcelona (Spain). Guests can choose from a combination of itineraries through the Adriatic, the Greek Islands, and the Western Mediterranean, including visits to historic and culturally rich ports such as Split, Croatia; Cannes and Nice, France; Crete and Mykonos, Greece; and Florence and Sicily, Italy.
Royal Caribbean's European cruise lineup continues in August with the Rhapsody setting sail for Israel, with Haifa as its new homeport—a first for the cruise line—until October 31. Offering enticing 3- to 8-night round-trip itineraries to Greece, the Greek Islands, and Cyprus, travelers can immerse themselves in the culture and heritage of Ancient Greece in destinations such as Limassol, Cyprus, and Athens, Greece, marvel at the stunning natural beauty of the eastern Mediterranean coast, or explore the Greek islands of Santorini, Rhodes, and Mykonos, renowned for their tranquil beaches and picturesque coastal villages.
Guests aboard the Rhapsody will enjoy a stylish and comfortable vacation. Highlights on deck include swimming pools, whirlpools, a rock-climbing wall, an outdoor movie screen, and the Vitality Spa & Fitness Center. Food lovers will have plenty to choose from with a wide variety of restaurants, from Italian cuisine at Giovanni's Table to sushi at Izumi. The Rhapsody also offers activities for all travelers and families, day and night, including shows, bars, lounges, and a casino. Children will have their own fun at the award-winning Adventure Ocean, and toddlers will be well cared for at the Royal Babies & Tots nursery.
