Travelers looking to soak up the sun and explore Bermuda's pink sand beaches and the Bahamas' white sand beaches this summer can do so aboard Vision of the Seas. From June through August, Royal Caribbean International will offer more tropical adventures with a series of new 7-night cruises from Bermuda. Passengers can spend an evening exploring Bermuda's culture, history, and cuisine, as well as a full day at Perfect Day on CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas.
New summer 2021 itineraries from Bermuda will open for booking on Monday, March 29, with departures beginning June 26. With a vaccinated crew, cruises will currently be available to adult passengers vaccinated against COVID-19 and passengers under 18 with negative test results. This current health and safety measure, like others, may change as the pandemic evolves.
“We are grateful to the government of Bermuda for welcoming us with open arms to their beautiful island nation as the new homeport for Vision of the Seas. This is another step forward in our safe return to sailing beginning in June,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. “Travelers are eager to start sailing again. By adding a second unique option to sail the Caribbean from such a rich and vibrant destination as Bermuda, we are giving guests the choice of how they can enjoy their well-deserved vacation this summer.”
Bermuda's pink sand beaches and charming, colorful houses will be the place where vacationers can start and end their 7-night cruise, a destination that is also a prime location for travelers to extend their time on land, before or after the cruise, by staying in one of the island's hotels and resorts.
In addition, guests of all ages will have the opportunity to amp up the excitement with a visit to Royal Caribbean's Perfect Day at CocoCay. This private island destination boasts a host of first-ever thrills and unique ways to relax, ranging from the 13 breathtaking waterslides at Thrill Waterpark, including North America's tallest slide, Daredevil's Peak; Oasis Lagoon, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean; Up, Up & Away, the helium balloon that floats through the air; and the Bahamas' first overwater cabanas at Coco Beach Club.

Vacationers can rest assured that their well-being, as well as that of crew members and the communities visited, are Royal Caribbean's top priorities. Details regarding the health and safety measures that will be implemented will be announced at a later date.
In addition, travelers must comply with Bermuda's travel requirements. This currently includes a negative PCR test result before traveling, testing upon arrival, and completing the appropriate entry forms.

Royal Caribbean's 7-night departures from Bermuda continue the cruise line's safe return, following months of successful cruises in Singapore with more than 50,000 passengers already sailing aboard Quantum of the Seas, the announced itinerary plans from Haifa (Israel) for Odyssey of the Seas, and cruises from the Bahamas with Adventure of the Seas.
