Silversea Cruises has broken its booking records with its 2023 arts-inspired World Cruise, titled 'South Side Story – All the World's a Stage'. Following the most successful pre-sale in the cruise line's history, the 139-day voyage sold out on its general opening day. The immersive journey will take guests deep into the Southern Hemisphere, sailing from the South Atlantic to the Amazon rainforest and beyond, calling at 66 destinations in 34 countries across five continents.

Each segment will unveil the history, culture, and spirit of the people and places visited. Exclusive World Cruise events will open doors to the sights, flavors, and rhythms of local life, and showcase regional music, art, theater, and dance traditions with authentic performances.
Following a Bon Voyage reception and dinner aboard the intimate Silver Shadow, guests embarking on the 2023 World Cruise will depart Sydney on January 10, 2023, and arrive in Fort Lauderdale on May 28. The itinerary will feature an extraordinary mix of destinations, from the remote wonders of Papua New Guinea, Mauritius, Réunion Island, and Cape Verde to iconic regions and cities, often with overnight stops (20 in total), including 10 days exploring Tasmania and New Zealand, three days in Myanmar, and a full week in South Africa. And, for the first time on a Silversea World Cruise, Silver Shadow will sail the Amazon River to discover the natural and cultural wonders of this legendary region.
In another Silversea first, each guest will enjoy a seamless journey that begins and ends at their doorstep, with private executive transfers to and from their local airport. They will also benefit from private assistance to their gate/lounge and have access to designated airline lounges. Following this, they will enjoy a premium flight experience from select US and UK cities to Sydney, Australia, in Qantas Business Class. Upon arrival in Sydney, travelers will enjoy VIP assistance, private executive transfers, and priority boarding. Butlers aboard the Silver Shadow will be available to assist guests with unpacking, should they wish.

The recently refurbished Silver Shadow, accommodating up to 388 guests, offers ocean-view suites, personalized butler service, and sumptuous cuisine featuring regional specialties.
