Silversea has announced the dates on which its ships will resume sailing after the suspension caused by Covid-19. “The health, safety, and well-being of our passengers and crew is always our top priority. We appreciate the understanding of our customers and travel agents during these unprecedented times. Our aim during this period of uncertainty is to maintain constant communication with them to ensure they have the most up-to-date information and can make informed decisions.”
The dates are as follows:
- Silver Cloud, on July 20, 2020 with its 16-day expedition cruise from Reykjavik to Kangerlussuaq.
- Silver Wind, on July 20, 2020, with its 12-day cruise from London to Copenhagen, with stops in Riga, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Stockholm…
- Silver Shadow, on July 26, 2020, with its 7-day Greek Islands cruise departing from Athens with stops in Syros, Kusadasi, Patmos, Rhodes, Aghios Nikolaos and Santorini.
- Silver Spirit, on July 17, 2020, with its 10-day round-trip cruise to Copenhagen with stops in Oslo, Bergen, Flam, Geiranger, Hellesylt, Olden, Oslo and Aalborg.
- Silver Muse, on July 16, 2020, with its 10-day cruise from Seward to Vancouver with stops at Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, Sitka, Ketchikan…
- Silver Whisper, on July 18, 2020, with its 9-day London to Lisbon cruise with stops in Saint Malo, Bordeaux, Bilbao, A Coruña, Porto, ending in Lisbon.
- Silver Explorer, on July 23, 2020, with its 18-day Alaska expedition cruise from Seward to Nome with stops at Holgate Glacier, Chiswell Islands, Kodiak Island, Semidi, Chignik, Unga Island, Dutch Harbor, San Pablo Island, San Mateo Island, Hall Island, Anadyr, Gabriela Bay, Cape Navarin, Anastasiya Bay, Peter Bay, Bogoslav Island, Pavel Bay (Natalii Bay), Cape Kuyveveem, Proliv Senyavina (Hot Springs), Yttygran Island and arrival in Nome, crossing the International Date Line at the 180th meridian.
Passengers with canceled cruise reservations will receive a 125% refund of the cruise fare in the form of a Future Cruise Credit (FCC), which can be redeemed for any future cruise and is valid for two years from the date of issue. This credit can be used to upgrade future cruises by choosing a longer itinerary or a cabin upgrade. Future Cruise Credits are transferable to family and friends, and can be used partially and applied to more than one new booking.
Silversea Venetian Society members will earn VS days on Silversea's cancelled voyages from March 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020, as well as on the new voyage booked with the Future Cruise Credit.
