Following the global alert declared by the World Health Organization, Costa Cruises has decided to further reinforce preventive measures in its fleet to ensure the maximum safety of its guests and crew.
From now on, no passenger, visitor or crew member of any nationality who has traveled to or passed through mainland China in the last 14 days will be allowed to board any Costa ship.

Among the measures the company has already implemented in recent weeks are the introduction of a medical form that boarding passengers must complete and a pre-boarding medical screening with temperature checks for anyone who, for any reason, appears or is identified as having symptoms (respiratory symptoms or fever). Any report or detection of illness symptoms during the pre-boarding screening may be reviewed by medical professionals to allow for case-by-case decision-making should any guest or crew member be unable to board.
