Silversea has opened sales for a new 59-day Grand Voyage Mediterranean cruise. The Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2021 will link unique and immersive experiences throughout the region, showcasing rich cultural heritage, old-world charm, and spectacular landscapes. Between September 8 and November 5, 2021, Silversea guests will visit 45 destinations in 17 countries, traveling in the company's signature comfort aboard the newly refurbished Silver Shadow.

Silversea's new offering invites guests to discover a remarkable combination of civilizations, cultures, and traditions in the Mediterranean and Black Sea, which have endured for thousands of years and continue to captivate travelers:
- Stroll along the sun-drenched beaches of Durres, Albania, before discovering ancient civilizations.
After an overnight stop in iconic Venice, guests aboard the 2021 Grand Voyage Mediterranean will travel through Croatian cities with their terracotta tiles, such as Split and Dubrovnik; discover the dramatic landscapes of Montenegro and the sun-drenched beaches of Albania; and marvel at the historic settlements of beautiful Greece. In Korčula, Croatia, the birthplace of Marco Polo, Silversea guests will experience a unique and vibrant cultural event in the heart of the city: a sword dance.
- Explore Batumi's waterfront and experience culture at the majestic Odessa Opera House.
Next, the Silver Shadow will set sail for Turkey, where guests will travel deeper into Istanbul for an overnight stop; Georgia, to discover the subtropical delights of Batumi; Russia, where the coastal gem of Sochi awaits; Ukraine, through the classic and enchanting city of Odessa; historic Romania; and beautiful Bulgaria. Combining the grace of ballet with the skill of military fencing, talented locals will offer travelers a traditional cultural performance in Batumi's Fountain Square. The majestic Odessa Opera House will evoke the days of Catherine the Great, as guests enjoy an operatic performance, canapés, and champagne.
- Stroll through the historic streets of Syracuse, Italy, one of the great ancient capitals of Western civilization.
Ancient civilizations lead the way for the Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2021: Greece, including Athens and Santorini; Malta, via a night dive in Valletta; Tunisia and its ancient ruins of Carthage; and Italy, with stops in Syracuse, Palermo, Naples and Civitavecchia (Rome).
- Experience the glamour of the Golden Age at the Monte Carlo Casino and Monaco's famous Hotel de Paris.
From Rome, where travelers will discover ancient history on every street, the Italian and French Rivieras are the next destination. Visits to Livorno (Tuscany), Portofino, Monte Carlo, Marseille (Provence), and Valencia, as well as an immersion in the unique Balearic charm of Palma de Mallorca, will showcase the Mediterranean at its most glamorous. During an overnight stop in Barcelona, travelers will dine on delicious tapas amidst the city's famous modernist architecture. In Palma de Mallorca, guests will explore the music of Chopin in the surroundings of the impressive Bellver Castle at an open-air piano recital.
