Silversea has unveiled five new itineraries for Silver Dawn, the tenth ship in the company's ultra-luxury fleet. The 596-guest ship, built by Fincantieri, will depart from Civitavecchia (Rome) on September 22, 2021, for its inaugural Mediterranean season before crossing to Fort Lauderdale.
As part of Silversea's new collection of voyages for summer 2021 and winter 2021/2022, Silver Dawn's inaugural season will include the following itineraries:
- Civitavecchia (Rome) – Venice, from September 22 to October 1, 2021
Guests sailing aboard Silver Dawn's maiden voyage will spend nine nights exploring Italy, Greece, Montenegro, and Croatia, beginning September 22, 2021. Departing from Civitavecchia (Rome), travelers will enjoy an overnight stay in Sorrento before sailing to Syracuse, Sicily. The Silver Dawn will then proceed to Corfu for an overnight stop, before continuing on to Kotor, Dubrovnik, and Split, finally arriving in Venice on October 1. Prices start at €5,500 per person, based on double suite occupancy.
- Venice – Piraeus (Athens), from October 1 to 13, 2021
For 12 nights between Venice and Piraeus (Athens), Silversea guests will enjoy immersive experiences in the Adriatic and Eastern Mediterranean. Departing Venice on October 1, the Silver Dawn will sail to Split, Dubrovnik, Corfu, Argostoli in Kefalonia, Souda Bay in Crete, and Rhodes, before an overnight stay in Istanbul. Stops in Dikili and Kusadasi precede guests' arrival in Piraeus (Athens) on October 13, 2021. Prices start from €7,200 per person, based on double occupancy in a suite.
- Piraeus (Athens) – Barcelona, from October 13 to 23, 2021
Starting October 13, 2021, guests aboard the Silver Dawn will immerse themselves in the rich cultures and spectacular beauty of Greece, Malta, Italy, and Monaco over 10 nights. Departing from Piraeus (Athens), Silversea's newest ship will call at Santorini, Valletta, Giardini Naxos (Taormina) in Sicily, Sorrento, Civitavecchia (Rome), and Livorno, before an overnight stop in Monte Carlo. The Silver Dawn will arrive in Barcelona on October 23, 2021. Prices start from €6,000 per person, based on double occupancy in a suite.
- Barcelona – Lisbon: from October 23 to November 2, 2021
Departing from Barcelona on October 23, guests aboard the Silver Dawn will sail for 10 nights discovering the authentic beauty of Spain, Morocco, and Portugal. Stops in Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Cartagena, Málaga, and Cádiz precede guests' arrival in Casablanca, Tangier, and Lisbon. Prices start from €5,500 per person, based on double suite occupancy.
- Lisbon – Fort Lauderdale, from November 2 to 15, 2021
For 13 nights, Silversea guests will experience the Silver Dawn Atlantic crossing, sailing from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale. In addition to offering the opportunity to enjoy the ship's luxurious onboard amenities for several days at sea, the voyage will include overnight stops in San Juan. Prices start from €4,900 per person, based on double occupancy in a suite.
Currently under construction by Fincantieri in Ancona, the Silver Dawn will be a sister ship to the Silver Muse and Silver Moon, drawing inspiration from the most successful features of each while incorporating unique enhancements. In addition to offering guests a choice of eight distinct dining venues, the Silver Dawn will feature Silversea's pioneering new SALT program, providing immersive travel experiences through gastronomy. Onboard the new ship, guests will enjoy Silversea's signature level of comfort, including spacious accommodations and the finest service at sea, thanks in part to a 1:1.45 crew-to-guest ratio and personalized butler service.
