In relation to the regulatory changes announced yesterday by the United States Administration regarding travel to Cuba, which eliminates from June 5 the prior authorization that allowed cruise ships to travel from the United States to Cuba, MSC Cruises will modify with immediate effect all its previously scheduled itineraries to include a stop in this country.
Due to these significant changes in US regulations and laws, MSC Armonia is no longer authorized to call at the port of Havana, Cuba, as part of its current itinerary. The alternative ports of call for Havana, Cuba are Key West, Florida; Costa Maya, Mexico; George Town, Cayman Islands; or Cozumel, Mexico. The rest of MSC Armonia's itinerary will remain as originally planned.
MSC Armonia passengers and their travel agents have already been informed and offered the following options:
- $400 onboard credit. If this credit is not fully used during your cruise, MSC Cruises will refund the difference upon check-out. Any excursions booked in Havana, or included in your cruise ticket, will be automatically refunded to your onboard account.
- The option to change ship and itinerary. MSC Cruises will cover cancellation fees and transfer the money paid to a new booking.
