Seabourn, a company represented in Spain by StarClass, has announced the name of its first expedition ship: Seabourn Venture. This pays tribute to the remote destinations visited by the cruise expeditions and the fascinating places that remain to be discovered.
Seabourn began offering expedition experiences on its first voyage to Antarctica in 2013, and these itineraries continue to be offered today. The success of the Antarctic program paved the way for similar optional experiences under the name “Ventures by Seabourn,” which are offered on Seabourn voyages and in destinations around the world, including Alaska, Australia and New Zealand, South America, and Northern European destinations such as Norway and Greenland.
In addition to the Seabourn Venture, scheduled for launch in June 2021, a second sister ship is planned for June 2022.Both ships will be designed and built for diverse environments to the standards of the Polar PC6 class and will include hardware and new technologies to expand the vessels' capabilities and global deployment.

These new ships will carry two custom-built submarines that will provide an unforgettable view of the underwater world. The ships will also be designed to carry kayaks and 24 Zodiacs that can accommodate all guests at once, allowing for a truly immersive experience.
Each ship will feature 132 luxurious suites with terraces and ocean views. Both expedition vessels will have an onboard crew that includes experienced expedition teams comprised of experts, scientists, historians, and naturalists.
More details and images of the ship and its interior spaces, as well as specific details about itineraries and booking availability, will be released in the coming months. The first ship is currently scheduled to sail to the Arctic in late summer 2021, with a full summer season in Antarctica.
