Yesterday, a crane collapsed onto the Oasis of the Seas during maintenance work at the Grand Bahama Shipyard, causing considerable damage that has forced the cancellation of three cruises. Eight injuries of varying severity have been reported.
The cruises on April 7, 14 and 21 have been cancelled and passengers will receive a full refund plus a 100% discount on the amount paid for a future cruise.
Some sources say the ship will head directly to the Navantia shipyards in Cadiz for repairs before it enters service on May 5 in Barcelona.
