AmaWaterways, the company represented in Spain by StarClass, has announced the launch of “MyAmaCruise”, a new mobile application designed to expand the way guests can engage with and share their cruise experiences.

Available for download on the App Store or Google Play, before embarking on all AmaWaterways European itineraries (excluding Portugal), Vietnam, and Cambodia, “MyAmaCruise” will give guests easy access to their itinerary information. It will also allow them to easily store their photos, with their location readily available, so they can share memories with family and friends.
The most notable features include:
- Live itinerary tracking, an interactive map that follows the ship's journey throughout the cruise and shows details of each stop.
- Mobile Daily Cruiser, up-to-date information on onboard activities, details on available shore excursions and information on the port of call.
- Personal Cruise Album, a library of photos taken by the guest, with tags on a map of the itinerary, which can be easily shared with family and friends during and after the cruise.
- Email postcards, a fun way to help guests connect with those back home, with just the touch of a button, they can automatically send e-postcards with pictures of each new port visited during their cruise.
AmaWaterways uses technology to meet the evolving needs of its guests. It was the first river cruise line to offer complimentary Wi-Fi on all its ships, and with this new app, it offers even more ways to stay connected and share experiences with friends and family. In addition to the app launch, AmaWaterways has upgraded mobile data plans on all its European ships and added more viewing options to its in-cabin entertainment system. Combined with fiber optic landlines in every European port where the ship docks for a minimum of six hours, AmaWaterways now offers faster Wi-Fi connectivity while cruising Europe's rivers, making it easier for guests to get around.
