Malaga, November 15, 2018 - Nearly 50 students from the La Rosaleda Secondary School in Malaga, along with their teachers, participated this morning in an educational day by Pullmantur Cruises - the only shipping company on the market that brings the Spanish lifestyle to the way of traveling on a cruise - on board the Horizon ship, taking advantage of its stop in the port of the Malaga capital.
Thus, students from the training cycles in the areas of cooking and catering have visited the main facilities of the ship and have participated in various talks led by the Hotel Director of the Horizon, Jorge Larrea, and the Human Resources Manager of the ship, Maria Mentzer.
The President & CEO of Pullmantur Cruises, Richard J. During the talks
The young people learned how the different departments on board are organized , what their team responsibilities are, and what training they will need in the future if they want to develop their professional careers on board. Jorge Larrea also reviewed some of the key elements for providing exceptional attention and service to guests. In fact, Pullmantur Cruises crew members have been awarded the Excellence Award for nine consecutive years.
Likewise, the day allowed the students to visit one of the ship's kitchens and attend an exclusive gastronomic demonstration by the Horizon's Executive Chef, Cristiand Mini, who also wanted to share with the visitors details of how this key area is organized to achieve maximum satisfaction for attendees.
Heading to Dubai
After departing from Malaga, the Horizon has begun the first part of its journey to Dubai, home port of Dubai and Legends of Arabia, the main novelty and commitment of Pullmantur Cruises for this winter.
