The American company Princess Cruises has released more details about its new ship, the Sky Princess, which can accommodate 3,600 passengers and will include the first-ever Sky Suites. These suites will be located on the ship's upper deck and will feature the largest balconies Princess Cruises has ever offered on its ships.

These suites will offer 270-degree views and can accommodate up to five passengers. Measuring 65 square meters, the balconies will provide travelers with a privileged and private space to enjoy the enormous screen of the 'Movies Under The Stars' show, as well as a versatile area for celebrations and events, where catering created by the prestigious chefs on board can be arranged.
In the words of Jan Swartz, President of Princess Cruises: “Our two new Sky Suites reflect the cruise line’s continued commitment to offering new and spacious staterooms to meet the needs and desires of passengers who wish to explore the world in ultimate comfort.
The Sky Princess will feature a Wakeview pool aft, in addition to the pools amidships, a Retreat Pool, and even more whirlpools than previous Royal-class ships. Passengers can also relax in the Sanctuary, which will offer a new, contemporary design and twice the private spaces of its sister ships. Furthermore, they can enjoy the new Vista Lounge, with a full bar and a new café in the space formerly occupied by Princess Live, serving teas, coffees, and snacks.
The ship will make its maiden voyage in the Mediterranean in October 2019. Princess Cruises will offer an 8-day Mediterranean cruise aboard the Sky Princess from Barcelona to Rome, departing on October 27th with stops in Genoa, Florence, or Pisa, priced at €1,375
