The Spanish shipping company has developed a new program of children's activities.

Pullmantur is responsible for popularizing cruises in Spain, and this popularization also brought with it a significant drop in the average age on board, making cruises a star product for family holidays.
For children, the mere fact of being on board a large ship is already quite an adventure, and if they also have a swimming pool nearby, their happiness is complete.
However, for parents, being on call 24/7 throughout the entire vacation can be more exhausting than going to work. The cruise industry realized this long ago, and all the popular cruise lines have children's facilities where kids can play for a few hours. At Pullmantur, the kids' club offered various traditional activities, such as painting, crafts, and watching movies, but the company has decided to go a step further and develop a new program of children's activities in collaboration with psychologists and experts. To this end, they have designed exclusive characters who tell a story that gives meaning to the games.
Sovereign and Horizon have been offering the program since June on their routes through the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Greek islands.
The Trotanautas gang consists of six characters, each representing a human skill, so children can find the Trotanauta they most identify with. Leonard, Ace, Sun, Mercury, Em, and Flower respectively represent spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, logical, linguistic, and naturalist skills, while Zip is the most innocent character for children aged 0 to 3.
The program groups children by age range: 0-3 years, 3-6 years, and 7-11 years. Upon boarding, the children receive their Trotanauta passport, where they record all their achievements. They will also learn the Trotanauta greeting and language, as well as their own song.
Trotanautas has been designed with different types of games so that all children, regardless of their abilities, can participate. It is a free program that promotes values such as friendship, teamwork, and respect for the marine world.
Family vacations: cruises are currently the best option for family vacations.
Every day, the children will face a new mission proposed by Dr. Pull, along with their friends, and always accompanied by the Trotacoaches counselors. The team's objective is to put an end to the misdeeds of the Plastifetido Monster, a repulsive, grumpy, and boring creature who is determined to ruin all the fun on board. The counselors guide the children through a variety of fun and educational experiences.
Throughout the day, there will be missions tailored to each age group to complete. Highlights include family-style scavenger hunts, the Trotafiestas (party-themed activities), hands-on experiences, and workshops that will take participants on a journey across the ship to discover hidden gems.
New Children's Area
: As part of the program, Pullmantur is renovating the children's areas on board its ships with a theme inspired by the adventurers and their world. The submarine "The Thousand Bubbles Ship" is a new and modern space that has everything children need to have a great time. In addition, some activities will take place in other areas of the ship, inaccessible to other passengers.
Fun for teenagers
For young people aged 12 to 17, Pullmantur has themed parties such as “White Party” and activities such as “Selfie Marathon” or “Become a YouTuber”.
Sovereign and Horizon, starting in June.
The program has been implemented since June on the Horizon and Sovereign, ships that sail the most popular routes in the Spanish market: Western Mediterranean and Greek Islands, or Adriatic. The Sovereign departs from Barcelona with its new "Wonders of the Mediterranean" route, which calls at Naples, Civitavecchia, Livorno, Villefranche, and Sète.
The Horizon, for its part, alternates weeks in the Greek Islands with weeks sailing the Trieste-Athens route or vice versa, allowing for a two-week itinerary to be combined for a comprehensive fifteen-day cruise. For example, the Greek Islands route departs from Athens and stops in Santorini, Marmaris (Turkey), Chania (Crete), Mykonos, and returns to Athens, from where the next cruise departs to visit Corfu, Bar (Montenegro), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Zadar (Croatia), Venice, and finally Trieste.
Children's entertainment is essential so that parents can rest.
As is usual with Pullmantur, their cruises operate on an All Inclusive basis, and those that do not depart from Spain are marketed with flights and transfers included.
The company's other two ships, Zenith and Monarch, will implement the program at the end of October. Each season, Pullmantur will refresh the activities so that its most loyal passengers can continue to have fun and learn.
