Barcelona – June 22, 2018. Construction begins on the new Terminal 25 (T25), a milestone in the history of Celebrity Cruises. Located in Port Everglades, Florida, it will be the first terminal built specifically for the cruise line and will be home to, among others, the industry's newest and most anticipated ship, the Celebrity Edge. Port Everglades and the renowned firm Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Inc. are collaborating on its construction, and the terminal will feature state-of-the-art technology and design.
Among other services, the terminal will feature the Frictionless Arrival system for a quick check-in process, and Suite Class passengers will enjoy exclusive spaces, screening areas, and even a private rooftop terrace.
The exterior of Terminal 25 will feature a 136 m² screen surrounded by over 1,672 m² of glass. The new Celebrity Cruises terminal will also include a staff lounge with free Wi-Fi.
Its construction will be completed in October 2018 and it will be the main terminal for Celebrity Cruises ships such as Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Silhouette.
