Orient Express Sailing Yachts and Guerlain have once again joined forces in the field of wellness to present Ocean Rebirth, a 14-night retreat taking place aboard the Orient Express Corinthian between October 12 and 26, 2026. The experience will transform the transatlantic voyage between Lisbon and Bridgetown, with a stop in Ponta Delgada, into a space dedicated to rest, recovery, and holistic well-being.
The program will take place primarily during the days at sea and will be designed by the Guerlain teams based on a holistic vision of well-being. Passengers can choose the full journey from Lisbon to Bridgetown or opt for one of two legs: from Lisbon to Ponta Delgada, from October 12 to 15, with three nights on board, or from Ponta Delgada to Bridgetown, from October 15 to 26, with 11 nights at sea.
Ocean Rebirth is structured around four pillars: nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and sleep. The goal is to offer a personalized program that takes into account the needs and pace of each traveler. Before the start of the journey, an assessment will establish an individual itinerary that can be adjusted throughout the voyage.
The program will combine individual consultations, small group workshops, and guided sessions. Food will also play a key role. The culinary offerings have been developed by Yannick Alléno, one of the world's most Michelin-starred chefs, in collaboration with Guerlain and its nutrition specialists, with menus tailored to each traveler's specific needs.
The experience will also incorporate different tools for care and recovery, including LongeviSkin, a Guerlain device that combines seven aesthetic technologies, including LED, plasma and radiofrequency, as well as consultations on longevity and Theragun devices for muscle recovery.
Five specialists during the crossing
Five specialists from Guerlain will accompany passengers during the tour, with proposals that cover different disciplines related to physical and mental well-being.
Amélie Demange, International Director of Aesthetic Expertise and Wellness Experience Creation at Guerlain Spas, will conduct a comprehensive wellness assessment for each passenger. Based on this assessment, a personalized program will be developed and will evolve throughout the trip.
Déborah Passuti, a naturopath and specialist in nutrition and longevity, will contribute her expertise in regenerative nutrition. Her menu will combine gastronomy and life sciences, featuring dishes created by Yannick Alléno and developed in collaboration with her from a nutritional perspective. The menu will be organized around three concepts: “Timeless Glow,” “Pure Reset,” and “Vitality Boost,” allowing each passenger to tailor their selection to their individual needs.
The gastronomic offering will also extend to breakfast, with a Longevity Breakfast, in addition to rituals, personalized consultations and master classes dedicated to regenerative nutrition and honey, one of the ingredients traditionally linked to Guerlain.
Slav Marinov, a six-time world massage champion and specialist in sports and deep tissue techniques, will offer personalized treatments designed to release tension, promote recovery, and improve mobility. His sessions will combine neuromuscular therapy techniques, trigger point therapy, active stretching, and joint mobilization.
Annabelle Deridder, Guerlain's beauty and wellness ambassador, will focus her presentation on facial treatments, skincare techniques, and holistic wellness. The program will include treatments, masterclasses on skincare and makeup, facial and body self-massage sessions, and personalized advice on skincare routines.
Completing the team is Charles Ferreux, a trainer and massage specialist whose experience as a professional dancer, performing with international companies such as Béjart Ballet Lausanne, has given him a keen eye for posture, movement, balance, and coordination. Onboard, he will lead individual sessions focused on mobility, strengthening, and movement, as well as massages designed to promote relaxation and recovery.
The journey itself will be a fundamental part of the program. Breathwork and meditation sessions, sound baths with crystal bowls, mobility work, deep tissue massages, Guerlain treatments, and regenerative nutrition will be combined throughout the days to create an experience focused on physical and mental recovery.
Beyond the activities carried out on board, passengers will be able to work directly with specialists to better understand their bodies, identify practices adapted to their needs, and acquire tools that they can later incorporate into their daily lives.
The proposal will have a second edition in reverse between March 13 and 27, 2027, with the crossing from Bridgetown to Lisbon and a two-day stopover in Ponta Delgada. Again, passengers can choose to take the entire route or divide it into two legs: from March 13 to 24, between Bridgetown and Ponta Delgada, or from March 24 to 27, between Ponta Delgada and Lisbon.
