Madrid, April 11, 2018 - Pullmantur Cruises - the only cruise line in the market that brings the Spanish lifestyle to the cruise travel experience - enriches its onboard entertainment offering with the premiere this season of two new shows: "Movida en los 80" and "Launi'e", both with an original script 100% by Pullmantur Cruises.
While “Movida en los 80” is already part of the programming on the Monarch and Horizon ships, the first showing of “Launi'e” is scheduled for July 15 on board the Zenith and will be progressively incorporated into the rest of the fleet.

“Movida en los 80”, a return to a magical decade
With a spectacular stage production accompanied by well-known Spanish and international songs from the 1980s, this musical tells the story of a group of friends who face the challenge of starting a business, embarking on the opening of a bar, until they finally achieve their goal.
The show takes place within the framework of a themed night in which guests are encouraged to come dressed as they were in the 80s.
After its premiere at the Monarch, this show is now also included in the Horizon's program and will soon arrive at the Sovereign (April 29) and the Zenith (May 18).
“Launi'e”, an original show 100% Pullmantur Cruises
With an exclusively visual representation (without dialogues), “Launi'e” is another of the company's firm commitments to introduce unique proposals, in this case, appealing to the sensory experience of the guests.
Throughout the 50 minutes of the show, the transition from darkness to the formation of the different shades of the chromatic spectrum is staged, where the play of lights, a rich modern costume with Renaissance reminiscences and the music are the true protagonists.
The title of the work is inspired by the word “Launi,” which means “colors” in Hausa (an Afroasiatic language), and “Launie,” a woman’s name meaning “origin.” Together, “Launi’e” evokes the origin of colors, the concept around which the entire performance revolves.
Starting with its premiere on July 15 on the Zenith ship, the company will progressively implement this representation throughout the fleet.
