Thanos Pallis has stepped down from his role as Secretary General of MedCruise, a position he had held since 2013.
Aimilia Papachristou, a board member at MedCruise, will temporarily assume the position. Papachristou joined MedCruise in October 2013 as Policy Advisor, where she was responsible, among other duties, for European port regulations. A graduate and Master in Shipping from the University of the Aegean, she is a maritime economist with extensive experience in port economics, management, regulation, and maritime transport. From 2011 to 2012, she served as Secretary General for Ports and Port Policy at the Ministry of Competitive Development and Transport of the Hellenic Republic.
Dr. Thanos Pallis served the association for five years, being a renowned maritime economist with experience in the port sector.
