MONTE CARLO – September 26, 2017 – Silversea has unveiled its plans for its first-ever ship refurbishment. The turnkey transformation of Silver Spirit will take place early next year at the Fincantieri shipyard, one of the world’s largest shipbuilding groups and number one in diversification and innovation.
Starting in early March, Silver Spirit will be lengthened by the insertion of a 49-foot prefabricated midsection, which will house 6 Silver Suites, 26 Veranda Suites, and 2 Panorama Suites. Technical upgrades will also be implemented.
The redesign of this extension and the innovations are inspired by the company's new flagship, the Silver Muse. Creative cuisine concepts will be incorporated, and improvements will be made to the elegant decor of the existing suites and to the public and outdoor spaces, providing a greater level of comfort and spaciousness.
