As TUI Cruises prepares to take delivery of the Mein Schiff 6 from the Meyer Turku shipyard, the crew has arrived on board. Of the 1,030 crew members, 70% come from other TUI vessels, according to company statements.
- Captain Kjell Holm, who has received all the ships in the Mein Schiff series, commented that once the crew is on board, the ship comes to life and prepares to receive its first guests, which will happen on May 16.
- Until now, the crew will be receiving final training and familiarizing themselves with the new ship. Hailing from 50 different nations, they will enjoy a welcome celebration when TUI Cruises officially receives the Mein Schiff 6.
