Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, a global cruise operator that manages the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Cruises brands, will be present at the most important tourism event of the year.
This year is full of exciting developments in the cruise industry and new destinations, most notably the arrival of this new cruise line to Cuba. It is the first US cruise operator to have several of its brands authorized to sail to the island.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings operates 24 ships with a capacity for approximately 46,500 passengers at double occupancy, and its itineraries visit some 510 destinations worldwide. The company's brands will add four new ships by 2020 in order to capture a larger share of the global market.
Norwegian Cruise Line is launching its ship specially designed for the Chinese market, the Norwegian Joy, this year. In 2018, the Norwegian Bliss, the first ship built to offer an Alaskan cruise experience and the first Norwegian Cruise Line ship to debut in Seattle, is expected to be delivered. In May 2017, the Norwegian Sky will arrive in Cuba for the first time, offering a series of five four-day cruises from Miami, each including an overnight stay in Havana.
